observe and learn

It seems that the more you understand people (and accept why they are who they are), the less critical you become. If you understand why they do the things they do, the more you realize that you shouldn't criticize them or brush them off uselessly but rather try to nudge them in the right direction. Yet, most of the time we tend to let ourselves become annoyed.
