change is scary!

Why is change such a scary thing? I remember when they were fixing the bathroom with the good showers, I was so afraid to use the freshman years bathrooms because I was so used to using the other bathroom. I guess it's the whole fear of uncertainty.

But yet at the same time, I'm afraid of not having change. For example, I'm afraid that when I find a job, I'll be stuck there at the same company doing the same things for the next 25 years. Though that probably won't happen, that's what I always worry about. and how people say the first 20 years of their life is so exciting and then when you start working, everything sort of goes by in a flash of light.

I've realized this year that life is short and it's still so open to opportunities now. We need to make the most of it. Every day, perhaps unbeknownst to our conscious minds, we make many decisions that decide what we do each day. Every decision to play smash is like deciding not to do something else.
